Standardised Water Treatment Plants
Colloide Engineering Systems are a process engineering contractor undertaking much work in drinking water treatment plants. We provide a range of treatment options for the treatment of potable water and a summary of some of the options are detailed below;
Chemical dosing equipment Colloide design & build our own dosing plant to meet the demands of the individual treatment plant. Typical dosing equipment will include * Soda ash make up & dosing plant * Caustic storage system and dosing plant * Acid storage system and dosing plant * Polyelectrolyte make up & dosing plant * Alum storage system & dosing plant * Chlorination dosing equipment
Booster pumping equipment Colloide build our own booster stations. These are generally duty/standby pumps with pipework, valves, etc. all skid mounted, allowing the system to be delivered to site fully tested.
Clarifiers Colloide provide a range of equipment for clarifiers. We can design the clarifier and can provide equipment such as: * Inlet distribution pipework * Sludge collection channels, pipework & control valves * Sludge collection hoppers * Lamella plate/tube system * Collection launders * Pipework & valves
Filtration equipment Colloide design & build our media filters for the treatment of potable water. The large scale filters are typically concrete construction with filter floor and external pipework & valves but Colloide have the ability to incorporate other filter designs to suit the specific site.
Sludge treatment equipment Colloide provide a full range of sludge treatment equipment to allow wastewater from a drinking water plant to be treated level which will allow incineration/landfill. Not all sites, however, require this level of treatment and we can offer the plant which is suitable for the site.
Control systems Water treatment plants require a sophisticated level of control. Colloide design and build these systems to the Client needs. The general control system will comprise; * Various instrumentation such as pH, Alum residual, chlorine monitors, etc. * Main Control Panel * PLC * SCADA system * Communication systems
