 Colloide Engineering Systems is an established engineering company specialising in the water & wastewater treatment industry.
We offer a variety of services/products to our Clients - from consultancy through to the design and construction of complete systems.
As part of our product range, we provide Installation, Maintenance & Commissioning services to our Clients. We offer mechanical, electrical & process engineering expertise which ensures equipment is installed as efficiently & safely as possible and, thereafter, operates to its maximum capabilities.

 We are flexible in our approach to these services. Our role may vary from maintenance specialist to principal contractor and the responsibilities that this brings with it.
Our costs can be on a fixed price contract or on hourly/daily rates.
We also offer call out facilities for mechanical, electrical and, indeed, process problems during both regular and irregular working hours.

 Health & safety is paramount to our provision of services in this area and, through our focus on this, we can boast no reportable accidents over the past 5 years on any of our sites. Colloide’s Moving Bed Bioreactor System provides a highly effective treatment solution using biofilm to provide organic carbon removal and nitrification / de-nitrification where necessary.
Colloide have used this attached growth system for some time on small to medium scale applications. Due to continued development, we have improved our performance and efficiency while increasing the number of applications. | | | 09/08/2010 Colloide successfully supply & install No. 4 Continuous backwashing filters for Whitchurch WTW, Shropshire, Wales, United Kingdom
Colloide’s have successfully completed a contract in the United Kingdom
for the design and build of a tertiary sand filtration plant for treating effluent from a humus tank prior to discharge.
Scope of work included the supply of No. 4 continuous backwashing filters for a water treatment works.

Colloide’s contract at Goldrum WTW involves all of the mechanical and electrical work associated with the Design, Supply and Installation of No. 2 pressure filters and the refurbishment of the existing plant. Works associated with the upgrade of the existing Goldrum WTW includes the refurbishment of the existing No. 4 pressure filters and the supply of No. 2 new filters. | | | 08/08/2010 Colloide successful complete Ardee Chemical Dosing Contract, Co. Louth, Ireland.
Colloide have successfully completed a contract in Ireland for the supply of a sulphuric acid dosing system for a water treatment plant.
The scope of work included the upgrade of the existing water treatment works with the supply of a new chemical dosing system and the supply of actuated valves for the filters and clarifier.
