Colloide charity mountain hike for Waterforall charity
Colloide organised a 12 km Sponsored Sperrin Mountain Hike for the charity Waterforall. The sponsored hike took place on Friday 21st August 2009.

Waterforall have provided access to clean water to hundreds of schools and communities in Africa. More than 1,000 pumps and 2,500 purifiers have been donated to rural and peri-urban communities in sub-Saharan Africa, improving the health and wellbeing of many thousands of people.

Money raised will go toward a “Fun Pump", this unique water system is made up of an electric pump powered by a solar panel and a special merry-go-round. The electricity generated from both the power of the sun and children at play provides a significant increase in water production over manually operated pumps.
