Colloide are provided the following equipment as part of the overall project;
* New pipelines around site
* New chemical dosing systems (caustic, alum, etc.)
* New contact tanks for both the old and new treatment streams
* New clarifier – concrete tank with stainless steel inlet lines and collection hoppers.
* Rapid gravity sand filters - concrete tanks with stainless steel launders, valves, media, etc.)
* Interstage pumping system
* Carbon filters - concrete tanks with stainless steel launders, valves, media, etc.)
* Revised backwash system
* Control system
* Site lighting
* High lift pumping system
* General site works including fencing, roadways, etc.
Due to the demand for water from the existing works, Colloide are working closely with Donegal CC to minimize downtime on the site.
The timeframe for the overall project is 6 months and Colloide are on target to complete within this timeframe.
