Colloide designed and built the mechanical and electrical works and the civil works were built by the main contractor to Colloide’s design.
Project outline:
The Ballyogan landfill site discharges its leachate to sewer.
Project description:
Colloide, with their specialist process designers Enviros, designed the treatment plant with the following stages;

* 1no. balance tank with controls
* 2no. duty standby transfer pumps
* 2no. duty/assist air blowers
* 2no. treatment streams consisting of aeration tanks, air diffusion systems, access platforms and associated pipework
* Outlet on line monitoring equipment (pH, methane, temperature)
* Central control panel
* SCADA system with remote monitoring facility
