Anglian Water contract for Chalton Water Recycling Centre
Colloide Engineering have been awarded a contract by Anglian Water for a new Tertiary Treatment Plant at their Water Recycling Centre site in Chalton.
Anglian Water are geographically the largest water and sewerage company in England and Wales, covering 20% of the land area. Anglian Water operate 138 water treatment works, supplying almost 1.2 billion litres of high quality drinking water every day to 4.3 million customers.
This new project with Anglian Water will involve the design, supply and delivery of the new Tertiary Treatment Plant at Chalton Water Recycling Centre, Luton, in order to meet the overall aim of reducing ammonia and solids levels from the existing treatment plant.
Colloide Engineering are well underway with the design stages and hope to start onsite in March 2017. The entire project is estimated to be completed and handed over to the client by late 2017.
