Papworth Everard Sand Filters

Colloide worked with Anglian Water to supply 3 Nitrifying Tertiary Sand Filtration Packages for Papworth Everard Sewage Treatment Works, located in Cambridgeshire England.

Works included the supply of 3 number Continuously Backwashing Nitrifying Sand filters (NDSF 7/4), 1 flow splitter tank, 4 number rotary screw compressors, control systems, air receiver, air filtration equipment, associated pipework and access platforms and stairs. The plant ensured the site met the new reduced ammonia limits.
